Collar lights

Does anybody use the collar lights on TT15 collars? Continuous? Fast blink? Slow Blink? How does it effect battery life?

Not bad

I use the light sometimes. Surprisingly it doesn't seem to run the battery down much. I forgot and left it on continuous while hunting 3-4 hours recently, at the end of the hunt I checked battery life, expecting it to be near dead. Still had 3/4 battery life. I believe slow blink uses the least battery life.

Use it every time they get close to a road but turn it off when they are not close. Haven't had it affect the battery but it's not often on a long time.

I’ve ran mine all night with the battery on, doesn’t seem to impact battery life enough to notice. Heck I’ve left it on and forgot to cut the collar off and left it in the dog box and it was still on the following day.

Never had an issue with the lights affecting the dogs or running batteries down. I know guys who run them the whole time on their beagles in the summer at night and never heard any complaints about batteries going dead because of the lights.
