Old dog back in shape ??

Any advice on getting a old dog back in shape for some hunts ?? She solid accurate and can do some winning both old and out of shape any body have any luck bringing a old dog back into the hunts ??

Now that is a novel idea. Can't you just run her behind a 4 wheeler during the day for a week and then take her to a hunt? Who wants to get out in this heat at night and hunt, especially with all of the mosquitos and spiders out now.

Yes, you can physically condition them behind a 4wheeler but the only way to get them in top hunting shape is to hunt them hard.

Only question I have is how old? Other than that most likely yes you can, put on a diet and regular exercise and she should come back around. I decrease food slowly, found out it helps the older dogs adjust better.
