At least two different companies have a vaccine that they are ready to start testing on humans. They started testing one on people in Washington State today.

I was giving some pups their 9 in 1 shots had my shot layed out ready to go. The pup was not cooperating and I was focused on getting the pup settled down when I felt a sharp pain in my leg. My 3 year old niece gave me the shot. I thought I was going to die of some crazy dog virus. But it said something about coronavirus on the bottle so guess I'll make it through all this stuff going on. If a distemper or parvo out break happens I should be good for that too. By the way my niece is 30 years old now and she reminded me of that yesterday I don't think she actually remembers doing it just heard the story a hundred times.

Everyone is not scared. I have talked to quite a few and some of them are scared but most are not. Most think that this will pass just like HIV/AIDS, Swine Flu, Asian Flu, Ebola, Flesh Eating virus, etc. Most of the people that I have talked to think that we are overreacting. China only had 1 new case overnight. The virus has run it's course in China already without any vaccine or treatment.

I agree NEARLY all take this serious and I wouldn't want to be a Guinea pig either. I guess I just get frustrated with stupid people that I'm around daily that still think it's a hoax. I can't go back to work for nearly 3 weeks and have older parents that I worry about because of their health issues. So, it does bother me when people make light of it all. But I guess laughing is better than crying.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling. You can be cautious without overreacting. There are 900 cases in New York, 10 people have died and they closed down the whole state completely. There are 52 cases in Tn, nobody has died and they have closed your workplace for 3 weeks. Now is that being cautious or overreacting?

It is all a matter of perspective. 17,000-45,000 people die from the common flu each year. That is an awful number but do we close our country down during flu season each year? Will 45,000 people die from the Carona Virus this year? If they do it will be a real tragedy but it won't be any worse than the regular flu.
