High energy 26/18. Chicken based. I love it, no issues with stool, energy levels or heat cycles. Quick recovery after long treeing. My dogs average 39-45 lbs. Feed 3 cups of food a day. I highly recommend it.
PS. Don't care for maintenance.... Or 24/20... (As much as I like 26/18)

I have never fed it but may try it I’m feeding value pak now and all but one of my dogs are shaking there heads! I have had them all to vet and ears are fine switched feeds for two bags and it got better but trying to find something in the same price range as what I’m paying now

Not saying this is the problem. A lot of feed has brewers yeast.
Many dogs are allergic this ingredient. Dogs that have chronic ear problems and head shaking with no other underlying cause(infections, mites, bad ear canals, etc.) may be having a reaction to this ingredient.

Find a feed that does not list it.

I fed sportsmix blue bag 26/18 and black bag 24/20...the dogs did well on it for many years...then in the last year or so they were losing weight and I had to increase the feed to maintain weight...then the head shaking and ear scratching started...the stools would be loose and smelly...swapped to Valu-Pak in the black bag and the dogs are doing fine...

I fed it for years and probably still would if they would quit rising the price up and they had a deal where you buy 12 bags you get the next one free that was nice, I tried the valu pak and have 2 dogs that will absolutely not eat it and will flip there bowls, I went with pride and love it and affordable

Thanks David I have a ride dealer close to me have to check it out! I have had all my dogs to the vet and they have a clean bill of health on the head and ears but the head shaking continues and the only thing I have done different in the last year is switch from pro plan to value pak

I agree the 26/18 blue bag is good food. I didn’t care for the 24/20 black bag

I feed the lime green pro series bag 21-17 in the summer and the orange pro series bag in the winter, as far as sportmix I fed the blue bag and liked it but it seemed like the beagles I was trialing would not have the stamina for hrs of hard running

Ive been feeding it for over a year now. Blue Bag 26/18

I have one female who is very picky , shes eats it and looks great on it.
Its prob not the "BEST" feed out there but i have no complaints about it.
