Rule Change???

I understand that a pistol in argument in hunt could turn bad I understand firearms at Coonhunt could be used by tree huggers. But with amount of dope heads and crazy people out late at night I personally feel better knowing I or others with me are carrying esp when I take my kids to hunts with me. And I think in today's society this is rule that should be looked at to be changed or at least updated to allow personal defense side arms. What's everyone else's thoughts on this rule?

Pistol

Always carry a pistol when pleasure hunting, mainly because of our coyote problem. Would disagree with them in the hunts. Nothing good could come from it!

Do a search, who carries a concealed handgun. Might surprise you, but UKC states it will not infringe upon someone's right to carry a handgun. As long as you are properly permitted. Even during a UKC hunt. Been that way. Surprise some people are already. Carrying on the. Hunts.

Try being a women in a cast with men you don't know on an old back country road. If I didn't carry and something happened, there are people that would say I had it coming. That I put myself in that position.

Yes ma,am that kind thing is my point exactly not that it would be your fault if something happened but that you have right and should be prepared to defend yourself.. I have 6 yr girl and 8 yr old boy that like to hunt with me. I don't leave house without carrying when there with me. But I got threaten get scratched if I had my pistol with me at hunt few weeks ago.

If you got threatened to get scratched, if you have a smart phone, bring up post "who carries a handgun" and show them what UKC says about it. You would he scratched wrongly. I often show it to the MOH before the hunt.
