I think if people were more responsible for the breed, instead of (STRICKING WHILE THE IRON IS HOt)mentality,we would all benefit. This use to be very common, this happens every year a male wins the world hunt or certain stud gets hot everyone brings their females to them hoping that he will cover up their weak points.I know if i was Zapper I would try to keep all of them close by.

So , who's fault is it? The owner of the male , or the owner of the female?

Bob Starke, man what's goin on? Did you ever find you a good young dog? You are probably holding out for one like 'ole Sally. Well guess what? There aint none. I got one here better than Rattler. Call me sometime.

What I was making fun of was the bbt habit of Zapper and his use of capital letters. As far as Lipper the hound, I have mixed opinions- some good, some bad. However, I would not linebreed to that hound. I would buy a straw of Dohoney's Boone in a flat second and would linebreed to him in a second. Besides, I don't ride trains, I only go solo. LOL

Lipperman

I have started this reply 5 times so far. I can't stay awake to finish it. I' ll get back to you tonight. Nice to hear from my role model. I thought you might have expired. Better than Rattler? We had fun going back and forth about that dog. I would take another cull like ole Sally any day. Worked great in my country. Got a young dog out of Trackman. Double Stylish Anna bred. I like him. Big mouth like ole Rank. Have you ever found a dog to run a track like Lipper or Rattler? How's the wife? Fill me in on your dog.
Signed, Lipperman, Jr.

I am a big fan of Lipper breeding, but this BTT is ridiculous. If you want some advertising, try paying for it. Bloodlines or Cooner works well.

Lipper

Lipper put big time hunt in his hounds with track driving power and those awesome loud screaming squalling mouths. When they located and treed most handlers thought their dogs were being eaten alive at the tree. When you got there, the dog was just treeing its heart out. I crossed him on strong linebred FR houndswith great results. Post for LIPPERMAN. He can tell you about the great ones like Lawyer and Rank. It took a tough individual who was in good shape to start and finish them. When finished you had a hound to be proud of. Good Hunting

I'll never forget

Back around 80 or so (not sure exactly), Keith Medley had been hooked up with Joe House for a couple years. It was before Tom Again around the time of Lawyer but anyways Keith brought a dog home from Joes that was a son of Lipper they called Ripper. He was about a year old. I spectated on a cast out of our local club and man when that dog treed I thought somebody was stabbing a knife in him. Screamin, squallin , bawlin , and LOUD ,LOUD LOUD. I had never in my life heard such a sound out of a dog treeing. Russell Wagers bought the dog from keith and I never knew what happened to him . I know he was the most radical tree dog I ever walked into the woods with .

Typical tree style for Lipper hounds. You should have heard Stylish Lipper. Can't find those track driving, radical , loud tree dogs anymore. Good Hunting
