Anyone out there have any input or experience semen breeding an older female?
I'm looking at breeding a healthy 10 year old female. Her last litter was born early 2018.
Any success stories? If 10 years old is too risky what would the general consensus be on an average cut off age?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

If your old female cycles regular then her repro. is healthy.
Look at it this way...
If u don't breed her....u will never know .
Regardless of what is typed on here.
This I do know...the older the female the less eggs , so a large litter is doubtful.

Do a surgical implant on a female that old.
If she's healthy as u say...go for it...

I bred a 10 yr old female to semen that had been stored awhile, she had 7 and raised them all.
