Not that facts about me are important , But I have made a interesting cross .

Personally I have never thought dogs from yesterday are as good as today Dogs .
I never thought I would breed to old seaman , But I have went and done it , Bill Hubbard owned a dog named Omen in 1993 and he had the vision of collecting him and saving it for the future , I was the lucky one he chose to let use it , Omen was the son to Frank Yates dog Flo , and Freddy Judd's Hoss dog , there was 2 pups in that cross the other dog was named Gypsy , Gypsy produced my original Cleo dog . I inseminated a dog named Tips the littermate to my BP dog , She is a house broke dog that rolls over fetches , and shakes hands , and will tree the heck out of squirrels, she is due in January

The fact Omen was a Gran son to S&C Smokey & great Gran son to Bruiser might have played a part in my decision , But breeding a dog that has lived in my house for 4 years to her Great Great GREAT Great Uncle seemed pretty cool to


Thank you Bill for allowing me the honor of putting that seaman to use , And my friend James Norman for the inspiration to make the move

That's right another fact I do have friends lol

Darrell,
It was my pleasure to help you so that you would be able to keep this bloodline going.
I have competition hunted for 44 years and Flo was the one of the finest that I have ever owned and handled. Once she made NiteCh. She made Grandnite without losing a cast. She won the Grandnite part at Black and Tan days one year, also she was the World Champion Black and Tan at the AKC World hunt back in the 90's.
Omen was also one of the good ones. He at 2 years of age had two wins and qualified for the world. Got him hung in a fence and his leg had to be amputated but he still caught coon on the ground with only tree legs. I later sold him for good money and then he was killed on the highway.
Darrell, hopefully this cross will make the kind that will make you proud. I know I am looking forward to this cross.

Hey Darrell what kind of nose do these dogs have. I like a cold nose dog as long as they can move what they strike. also like layup ability. I believe i was told about the semen from Frank Queen. He told me i should try to cross it on my cloudy female but i just didnt want to breed her again that soon. He said the male was supposed to be top notch and also the dogs behind him. good luck.

Biloh is all the semen used up or is there more. I would be interested in the future to maybe breed my Gr Nt. Cloudy female to it. I want some of the old blood back that could really move a track. So many of our lines nowdays are medium to warm nosed and thats ok if thats what you prefer. i just prefer a dog i can hunt in December and January that can strike and move a bad track.

Dan I expect cold nose track driving fools with a competitive nature to be the best in any company
Speed and the ability to tree any kind of track is why I made this cross , I also expect these to be early starters

Hey Darrell, are you going to have an implant done, or A-1. Frozen seamen, only lives 12 to 24 hours, in the female, an implant done by a vet. who's good at it has a conception rate of 90%, A-1 only about 40%. I had a walker female done by A-1, before i knew about frozen seamen, only liveing 12 to 24 hours, in the female, this was in an old article done by a vet. in coon hound bloodlines, years ago. Any way, i did't get any pups, cost me over $450.00, had to pay for the frozen seamen, freight in a special stainless steel container, from California and back to them, seamen was on Grnnitech. River Ben Shot. Good luck.
