What is the best cheapest tick Prevention

Has anyone used any ear tags for cattle that really work or anything else that works in tick infested territory that is priced reasonable??????? randyfox70@yahoo.com

Purple cattle tags (Python) - tractor supply carries them.
Last 4 months ea. 20 tags for $30.00 a bag. Have never found a live tick on any of our hounds. We are tick infested in this part of the country.

I slit them in two spots and run the collar through them. Some folks wire them to the collars. Hope that is some help friend.

Years ago someone had a post on here bout using bare tree and shrub. Couple drops between the shoulder and a couple at the base of the tail. Ticks die before you can get em off.

Taurus SC Insecticide - 20 oz for $43
http://store.doyourownpestcontrol.c...-sc-insecticide
Mix it with Baby Oil 60:40 it is a Termiticide with 9.1 % Fipronil, exactly the same thing as Frontline for a fraction of the price. Check the label.
