.
I love these collars but let me say something about them or anything else you may use on your dog.
I have used them for several years on my two Yorkies in the house. Put a new one on them about a month ago and one started to have a problem. Large red spot developed at the base of the collar and went down the back and started to moisten up and look bad. I am not saying anything against the collars. Maybe the dog is getting old, maybe the collar had more treatment on it than it should. I don't know but I do know I liked them.
I said all that to say. Anytime you expose your dog to any medication or anything they can eat or absorbs. Like you did it is a good idea to look for changes and go a different direction for a while. 50 people could and probably will say. Had nothing to do with it. But something is affecting your dogs and you did the right thing by thinking what changed. New collars, may or may not be the problem. But in your case a change took place. Hope it all works out for you. You might try taking them off, it it clears up put them back on and see what happens or put it back on one dog. I know sometimes when I put collars on one dog. I see the other dog licking them like a new toy.
