Garmin collar won't link?

I have an alpha and a I believe a t10 collar, it's track and train.
Went hunting tonight and it wouldn't link up, I went to dog info and reset it linked up and seemed good, got to the woods and nothing it won't link up, I've deleted it and than added it, all goes well except it won't link up and I have no info on it.
Everything seems okay, I don't see any damage that is obvious, is there anything I'm missing or is the collar just toast?
Thanks.

.

The flasing lights tells you how it is working. Is it a steady single flash. Or a triple flash with a very short pause. If you have another collar compare the two if you dont understand what I am trying to explain. If it is just a steady flash that means it is not connecting to the satilites. Problem with gps circuit. Generally the wire is damaged which you should be able to see.

Put the collar on the charger last night even though I took it off the charger last night when I went hunting, tried it this morning and linked up no problem, works as always.
Should I be thankful it was a blip or worried about using it as it's a sign of failure?
Any advice Bruce?

.

No way to predict an electronic failure. I would be suspect of it for awhile.
