Vernon Dalton bred his Millie female (Lobo/Gilstraps Cricket) to my brothers Ripley dog (Prettyboy Poacher/Abby). Millie has a good nose, hunts hard and can tree a tough coon track. Just wanted to say a few things about Millie. Millie was just young when I bought her, so I’ve saw her turn into a coondog . She has a head full of sense and will get deep in a hurry. Easy handled at home and in the woods. Big mouth for a female!! Her strong points are her nose, drive and tracking abilities . She can take a cold track and drift it or take a running track, either way she has a knack for finding the right tree with a coon in it. She has done this with very limited coons shot out to her. Millie was the type that just needed to be exposed. That’s all I did with Millie…exposed her! She is one of the most laid back, easy going dogs I’ve ever owned.

Took Heidi for the first time last night. Doesn't bark in the box, no poop or puke, not scared of the truck, went 250 before coming back, treed some, showed enthusiasm, what more can I ask for from a puppy?

Heidi is 7 mo old now and is poacher/pioneer bred female. She has a ways to go but for her age she's coming along nicely. Extremely smart, opening on most tracks and she is now starting to tree decently. Kraig has another litter now out of Lobo that I would recommend based on the results I'm seeing from Heidi.

Appreciate it Sam. Pretttyboy's grandpa (victor) on his daddy's side was heavy linebred on those old von plott dogs off my uncle's Doug and Bill Hicks dogs. They put the nose power in them. I think you hunted a couple off Doug's dog named buck and bear if I remember right. That's been a good while back

i would like to get some of that blood back,them two dogs were outstanding dogs and took to bear like fish to water.like whitie ramsey told everyone down there they were two of the toughest plott hounds he had ever hunted with,thanks whitie.i thank doug for givin me those two dogs and am grateful.

Yeah Whitie and Doug were friends for as long as I can remember. If Whitie liked you, he would do anything for you if he didn't you better stay clear. He was sheriff down there in Polk county for years when he was young. He was kind of like the Buford Pusser of East Tennessee HA. I didn't know Bob had died though
