Is the date of ownership recorded as the date shown on the papers sent in for a registration change to a new owner. Or the Date on the front of the new papers shown as the recorded date.

I have a female I purchased to breed and I purchased her on 4-3-18 (I think that is correct) and bred her on 4-9-18. I had the papers put in my name the day I got them and on the front of the papers it says the recorded date is 4-17-18.

What date did I become the owner of this hound. 4-3-18 or on the recorded date of 4-17-18

The purchase date would be the date you became the owner of the dog.
