Lights....

The Big Dog Genesis is a Nice Light, Will shine the top of any tree, its very bright and a Great Walklight with Burntime thats Outstanding. It only weighs about 18 ounces and Very Comfortable on your Head.
I hunted 4 nights on this light, using it about 3 - 6 hours each night, it showed No signs of going down....But I went ahead and charged it anyway.

Have hunted with my Sunspot Inferno 4-5 times. Don't see anything not to like about the light. See most coon walking in with the walk light on. Just seems like they will look at it. Thought about changing it so that it only had high on each color and walk and spot but really whats a couple more clicks. Haven't tried all the others but this one suits me.

Double Death and Genesis

Well after hunting now with both the Bright eyes Double Death and the Bid Dog Genesis I am pretty happy with both of them. The Double Death has a much larger battery pack and is heavier but it is very well balanced and does not feel bad on your head.
The Genesis has a much smaller battery pack and is lighter by 5 oz. (I think). The walking lights are about the same and the shining light seems to work very well also. The Double Death has more bells and whistles but the Big Dog light is just as functional.

They are priced about the same and I don't think you could go wrong with either one of them.

I have heard the Inferno is a very nice light also and I see quite a few of them at the hunts. We are sure spoiled since the days of the old Mag lights and Wheat Lights!

Happy Hunting!
Scott

I figured you would like the Big Dog Genesis Scott, its little & lightweight but a Top Notch Light.
I hunted 4 nights with the Genesis, it was still burning strong.....I charged it and then turned it on Main Beam , & after 7.25 hrs I turned it off. It was still burning on Main Beam a little but the Walklight and Colors were still Very Bright.
That DD Light is a Nice Light as well though.
Its nice that we have so many choices in lights these days.
Tim

Great Light

I have had the Sunspot Inferno now for about 3-4 weeks. It has the walking light I was looking for. Have found 2 coon last two nights with the red light I would have missed. It's plenty bright. There are probably others as good but I don't think they would be any better. I talked with Mike about these lights and purchased it from Kenny Rhea. Both guys couldn't have been more helpful.
