Aluma-bright You can get it at most big truck stops! You spray it on and scrub it then wash it off. Only recommended to do it once a year as its can be hard on it if done too often.

Dont be confused by the "names" of aluminum cleaners or brighteners !!!!!!
main thing is look for the ingredient and know which product is designed for the proper surface.

If its an "HF" base acid which is Hydro Fluoric acid DO NOT put this on polished alum. !!! Its designed for "raw" alum only . Used on a dogbox you will have to have it polished again if you want the shine back.
Also , HF will etch glass. Its bad stuff but yet a great product on RAW alum. HF microscopically removes a film of alum and the longer you leave it on the more it eats and eats and eats until you rinse it off. HF is very dangerous to use also, dont get it on you !!!!

For polished use ONLY >>> a citrus based alum cleaner OR if its a blend of citrus and phosphoric acid this is fine also.
This type of product/blend will only eat so far then quit . Plus its safer on the surface and on you in case of an accident.

If your box has that weathered/dull/aged look to it and you want that 'New" look again, your best bet is to citrus acid wash it , then polish it with white jewelers rouge and cloth wheel with body buffer or a 4" grinder.
THEN even after you do all that and make it look nice and pretty and shiny again .... the shine wont last as long as you want/expect it too. LOL Good Luck !
