Are the handlers that hunt in the Super Slams, the same as the ones that hunt in the local hunts? Weren't the Super Slam hunts with their big $$ entry fees and different rules set up to attract Pro Handlers?

I wasn't comp. hunting 40 yrs ago but started about 30 yrs ago and I agree dogs babbled then to but it seemed then that handlers was more inclined to strike their dog for what it was doing and not for the points/position what do you think?

The main concern about changing this rule is the way I understand it if passed you can't have the device turned on during the hunt. Let me say I am not for calling your dog off a electronic device and I for sure don't believe you should be able to use it to control your dog. But I'm not for shutting them off during hunt time for the reason of safety to the dogs. A lot of places we hunt you have to watch and make sure your dogs are not getting close to a highway or something that could be harmful to the dogs. For me I have never and will never call my dog off my Garmin. But this would be a concern for me.
