Bred Mae to Truck this week. Pups should be here the end of March. A little about Mae. Tall leggy female, 65 to 70 lbs. takes off the second you unsnap the lead.Hunts out well. Good nose. Usually a first strike type of dog. Wide open on track, whether it is a good track or old track. Will work an old track. Fairly loud. Gets her share of first trees. Hard tree dog. Will work with dogs or can get by herself. A couple of her littermates are Nitech. If I were a good comp hunter she would be finished now, but I suck at comp hunting, just ask anyone that has drawn out with me. She was qualified for the world hunt last year, at the Lisbon rqe, took a third place there. She also has a first place on her. Just needs a cast win to become a nitech. The plan is to get her finished to nitech when she comes out of heat. Have to thank Chad Nay for putting her in the hunts for me, and Kelly Hyde for keeping her this week and breeding truck to her. This is an uncle to niece cross. Carries some of the following in her blood. Sandy Creek Jake, T-top, Yellow River, Sawblade Fiddle. The pups should be some pretty nice hounds. There will be no pups from Mae. She was diagnosed with Lyme Disease last week and we had to put her down today.

I hunted with her and she had some very good traits. Fast strike dog and a good mouth. Stayed treed also. This would have been a nice cross. Sorry about Mae we need dogs like her.

Sorry to hear this Mike, I remember when we decided to make her cross you were the first person on the list. You were all in on Mae from day one. Its a shame how to often the good ones go way to early.
