It takes time that we all have very little of, having to work on Monday, and since the hunt was not over until Sunday morning around 6 am, and folks having to travel across the state
home, and with sleep thing being only a few hours for entire weekend..... well that should explain it all. Only way to get faster results from an all volunteer staff would be to attend the hunt and support the cause.

for this to be a purina point event looks like the winners would be posted on the board or the main page

It's not always that easy. It would be nice if you could cut them a little slack and consider that most folks involved with putting on a big event have a lot on their plate. Furthermore, most hunters are not set up like UKC staff might be to get the results up quickly. You might be surprised how late some of those staff members work and the effort it takes to get you results in a timely manner.

Thanks Allen. It is true that in many cases, the Officers of these State Events leave the hunt around Daylight or after. In our case, there is not a PC available to do any posting, and to be quite frank, as President of the Georgia Federation, I would have no idea how to post them if there was one there. Couple that with most of us having a 3 1/2 hour ride home, we aren't getting any sleep at all since waking on Saturday morning around 9 AM after getting in bed from the Friday portion of the hunt around 3:30 AM. Not making excuses, but it is really the last thing that a person who has been awke that long needs or wants to be doing. James works very hard to ensure our winners are posted timely, but sometimes timely is not as timely as the UKC can do it. Please remember that the "Purina" events are mostly of the local types and it may take a little time to get the results posted. In any event, they will be posted and our winnners will get the recognition they deserve. We thank everyone for their support and coming out to help us have a quality weekend.
