The 3rd annual Western Carolina Challenge will be held February 2, 2019 at the North Carolina Tri. County Coon Club in Vale, NC. The address is 3450 Trinity Church Road, Vale NC 28168. There will be a hunt off between the three high scoring dogs to determine the overall Western Carolina Challenge. Each member of the final cast will receive a new light. The winner of the final cast will receive $500. The overall show winner will receive $200. Nice prizes will be awarded in both the show and the hunt. Must be a member of NCCHA to compete for overall championship in hunt or show. Individual memberships will be sold the day of the event for $20. Great food will be served all day. Please be making your plans to attend.

A little over a month away. Please make your plans to attend this event. The officers of YOUR association put a lot of work in to putting on quality events for the hunters and show people of our state and we need YOU to attend the hunts and shows that we put on to make them worthwhile.

It looks like the good Lord is going to bless us with great weather for this hunt. Saturday the high is supposed to be 57 and the low is supposed to be 37 with no chance of rain. Perfect weather for a coon hunt so please plan on coming out and supporting YOUR association and trying to get a win on your dog and trying to win a little money. I hope to see you there.
