After a "borrowed" tractor because the side by side wasn't heavy enough to the job we made it out. The rain is gone and it is now a beautiful cool still night for the late rounders. Game were moving on our way back so after a day of being holed up from the weather I expect they will get to tree some on the outside late. Should be a good hunt.
This truck is in need of a major power washing! 4x4 doesn't apparently do much good if you wait until your stuck to hit the button my husband has informed me lol!

Well, at least the dog that beat you won the hunt. The final 3 hunt was close to the very end, it could have went any way, depending on the last 3 trees. Exciting end to a very good cast and 3 very good dogs. I bet they could hunt the same 3 dogs 3 different times and have 3 different winners, 6 split trees 2 for each dog and 5 trees plussed and 1 circle, that's close folks. Dave

I just want to say that you guys have had a remarkable run this year in the Major Hunts. Pretty impressive from anyone's view, it takes a coondog that is consistant to get anywhere close to what Shack has accomplished this past year. While he did not win them all, he was in contention in every hunt until the end. Quiet a feat for a working man, hunting his own stock of dogs that he raised and trained competing with the best of the best and winning his share and then some. You guys and your dogs are the real deal and give true meaning to what this sport is all about. You have more than proved that a working man that trains his own stock of dogs can compete with the big dollars and pro handlers and win. Dave

Congrats Chey, Seneca, Dalton, and the rest of the Mafia crew. Shack is a wonderful dog. Love the way he moves around, love his accuracy, and really love his tree mouth.
