I will make a comment on B. J. I havenít hunted him a lot but he sure look good the the night I hunted with him. It was 2 years ago during kill season and Josh brought BJ up and I hunted a female name Lucky and we treed 6 coons that night. BJ is definitely Grn Nt material but I donít Josh is really worried about finishing him. If BJ can produce pups like he is he will sure help the breed. When you hear Walker dog guys brag on a BJ there is a reason for that he is a good hound. With his breeding he should produce. I encourage blue dog men to check this dog out.

Thanks Terry

Even if no one else likes him I sure do, but seems like some people like what they see.

Snickers

Snickers is out of the first cross on BJ. We raised Snickers and started him. We liked what we saw. A man from Texas came up and hunted with him, and liked what he saw. So Snickers is enjoying the warm weather and chasing Texas coon now. I have had good reports on some of the other dogs from this cross.

Cole

I kept Cole back because at 6 weeks he had a nice bawl for a pup. I raised him up and then he moved to Oklahoma. Where he is spilt treeing and putting the hurt on the coon population. There is another one out of this litter that made conformation champ at seven months old at the UKC Premier. Here's a pic of Cole when he was about 6 months old.

Queenie Bj x twister

Queenie was the runt in the litter, we kept her. She has started running and treeing. And looks to have a lot of promise. I have hunted with one of her littermates who treed ahead of the other dogs, and looked good doin it. Here's some pics of Queenie.

The fourth litter

We raised the Mississippi Mud Bug. He is now living around Marble Hill MO. When he left he was running and treeing some. He is now getting it done. There is one out of this litter, around Hartville MO. That I have been told has been running, treeing and spilt treeing since she was young. Dobsons Wild Blue Louise is out of this same litter. She is going with the old dogs as of now.

I would encourage serious Bluetick men to take a serious consideration on a pup out of the Rivers female and Bj. In this area most of the hunters that have hunted in the night hunts know of the Rivers female to be a tough competitor if you happen to draw out and hunt against her she is a tough little hound to beat. I would sure like to have a pup from this litter but I live in town and can only keep but so many dogs.

Well Thanks Again Terry

And they both may be potlickers but I'm willing to cut them loose anytime. I've hauled Rivers to town a few more times than BJ. Mainly cause I got BJ eat up one night and Lynoel said that's what you get into in those hunts. But I have no problem showing any dog on the place. Yep I've seen everyone them look bad. Been a few times when I wouldn't have bought them if they were for sell. but a lot more times than not I love huntin' em.

That is a good picture of Lyonel and Buck, been in the woods a few times with those two. Buck was a go yonder get treed type of dog. Lyonel was a hard hunting pleasure hunter that had as good of dogs as any man. He sure believed in the Smokey river line of dogs as well as crossed on Spare Time Spanky. Have hunted with several dogs of Lyonel. Old Buck; Smokey river Grubby, Smokey river mugging, Smokey river fat patty, Smokey river cricket , grubby jr, grubby 2 and several more. Coon hunters coon dogs.

Keegan's pup eli

Went with Keegan and Bobby tonight. Keegan's pup treed some coons with the other dogs (Bj and Jim). Then we made a drop with just the pup. Didn't run track far but got treed and had the meat all by himself.

Ole Keegan was happy. Eli is out of the third cross (BJ X TWISTER)

I don't know that would be a ? for Dennis Shepperd. But she does look some like Twister. And she looked good on that coon. Ran him by scent for 300 or so yards and treed good. Lyonel rode along on that coon and said if Hank didn't like her he had an open kennel. Like I said she sounded pretty good on that tree. I'm excited to she how she comes along. She is a littermate to Keegan's Eli and my Queenie dog. Born on 11/15/17 so they are about 13 1/2 months old.

What I guess I really meant was the blanket back markings was a trait of the Diamond Jim line of dogs. I think Tom Dooley was close to Diamond Jim. I am sure their is someone that knows exactly how he is bred up. I may be totally wrong on that. But anyway that little female is sure bred up good.

Tom was a great grand pup on the top to Grnitech PR SMOKEY RIVER BL. DIAM. JIM, and a great great grand pup to him on the bottom. Tom was out of a Father-Daughter cross off PR CARPENTER'S BLUE SMOKEY AND PR CARPENTER'S BLUE LUE ( PR CARPENTER'S BLUE SMOKEY X PR CARPENTER'S BLUE PEGGY) But I don't know if I've seen a pic of him.
