from Joe Smith today, he said he took his 2 young dogs out of RED to a PKC hunt near Tulepo last weekend. There were only 2 cast and his dogs Hank and Red won them; Hank won his and Red won his. Great going Joe!!!

they are all the youngest in the list 1 1/2 - 2 YEAR OLD. All the other dogs are 3 and over. Could you imagine if some people would take RED serious what he could do for the breed and how many of his pups would be here. There has only been like 3 litter's SS. Anyway gl with those dogs boys! RED will still have a real impact on the Redbone breed!!!

I have also been part of having GREATFUL DEAD RED bred to 3 top Outlaw females and many nice other females. I want to do all I can to help this breed that I love. Thanks everyone who is working together.

I am planning to breed to some other Outlaw and Fireball and Ace bred dogs.

My goal: breed top hounds to produce top hounds!!

(all of these qualities are secondary to them being a coondog).

For me I want all of these things in a hound and that's what I am breeding to improve on and to keep. I would not consider breeding to an average or poor mouthed stud. Volume is important to me. GRNITECH CH Ficken's Greatful Dead Red has all of these qualities. I will strive to help the breed in these areas as we continue to breed top hounds of this quality to other hounds that can bring improvement.

3 pups out of RED and Dolly are running and treeing, one is treeing his own coon. I think these pups are like 8 months old. If you have one and are reading this post, could you put up some pictures and info on them. Thanks John

I have only had RED in a Few major hunts and he has won or placed in almost everyone of them. I do not have the time or the money to have had him in a whole bunch, but I know he can still win at 8 years old!!!
