far out question

ok..dont know if this is true or false;but here goes the question in a cast with spectator, when is it ok for a spectator after a tree is scored,to go to the dog that was treed handle the dog to shoot a syringe full of so called electrolytes into the dogs mouth, before the handler of such dog continues to hunt.i thought as a spectator they were only allowed to shine the tree if given premission to do so.other than that as a spectator they were only allowed to be seen and not heard.what is everyones take on this.
