You young folks may not appreciate them much. But man we was setting on the tailgate last night our faces buried in them ( we are worse than you young folks ) just can't believe that it does all it does. I asked jimmy how much would you paid for one of those back in the day ? He said twice as much as I paid for this one lol.

Boy your right about that, all those nights driving around sections, stopping and listening, nothing, drive some more stop get out, listen, nothing, sometimes a little while finally hear one but sometimes half or all night before you find them. Would have give a lot of money we didnt have for just a 220 and one little T-30.

Yeah everytime he would say mines 300 yards how far is yours I would say 450 yards and they was running this coon hot !! After the third time he said let me see your Garmin bubba lol.

Been hunting for 60 years and if I had to give up my Alpha I guess I just wouldn't own a dog. I sure like coming home when I want to and knowing where my dog is all the time. Never did like dog hunting which is what we did a lot of the time.

I am with you guys when it comes to using my Garmin, I don't even like hunting without mine. You just have that peace of mind knowing where your dog is at all times. I would have loved to had one back when I was younger, but I am thrilled to have one now. Times sure have changed, some for the better and some for the worse, Garmin has sure made hunting safer for our dogs and for ourselves. Dave

Im certain it has saved alot of dogs lives being able to cut them off before reaching a road etc etc etc I know it has mine !

Also a great tool for those who hunt silent mouth track dogs ,,, those are the garmins that the battery companies love
