Some early morning Deer Hunting.

Our deer season is coming to a close in a few weeks. I snapped a photo this morning of Corey standing in the road listening to the deer hounds trail one.
The beauty of just being there is what I am Thankful for. If a deer is ever taken, it's just a bonus. That little Kubota Sidekick makes getting around the woods pretty easy. Shortly after the photo we had it is a pretty bad spot and it surprised me on it's ability to get out of it without help from the winch.

My buddy Marv used one down at the deer pen for a couple years. That one was a diesel. Smoothest ride of any I've, hunted out of and pulled like tractor. But way too slow for road work. I put 20-30 road miles on mine most nights. 25 mph don't work for me. I always in enjoy your posts Bruce.

.

Jim, this is their new model they call the Side Kick which is a cross bred model. Not a 60 mph speed demon that my Polaris is but will top out at 4O mph. It's gas and does a pretty good job. If I could take the features I like on this one and match it with the features I like on the Polaris. I would have a good machine. I drove it down 10 miles of Black Top to get to the hunting club this morning.
