Black and Tan rabbit dogs?

I was reading something the other day about people using there Black and Tans as rabbit dogs. Does anyone have experience with running there Black and Tan on rabbits or running any coonhound on rabbits? Just curious.

I heard about that several years ago. I had one that would tree squirrels but you would have to see one cross the road and put him on it first. Shoot it out and he thought the world was fixing to end until I praised him. Then the game was on. I heard that his grand mother was like that with rabbits but then again the guy could have been pulling my leg too.
