ive ivomected my dogs and they are still wormy so decided to try the safe guard horse wormer been told it's the same ingrediant and it's safe for dogs the lady that recommended it to me said she even gives it to her chiwawa or however you spell it lol. she said to give em a half teaspoon of safe guard. shall see if it works out, if so it would be really nice after all one 11 dollar tube treats up to 1,000 pds lol. Used to use panacur (good stuff) but the crap is getting so expensive it's rediculous.

The dosage of Ivomec given 1/10 cc per 10 lbs of body weight will kill heart worms, not a high enough dosage to consistently kill intestinal worms.
Safeguard for intestinal worms has to be given 3 days in row to be effective, and was recommended to me by a vet.
Active ingredient in safegaurd Fenbendazole, same as Pancur just a different trade name.
