Those Pigeon River boys did it again this week end. This is the second time that they have won Opposite Sex Champion at Southern Redbone Days. Danny and Jim won their cast on Thursday night and Rex and Jim won on Friday night. Jim and Montana Ranger both had 2 cast wins but Ranger was ahead by about 75 pts by Saturday night. Ranger was high scoring dog on Thursday night and Jim was the Gr Nt Ch on Friday night. They drew out together on Sat and so they hunted heads up for the Opposite Sex win. They both got beat by a walker dog for the cast win but Rex and Jim had the least amount of minus and when they totaled the 3 nights up, Jim came out ahead. It was an exciting weekend of competition between some very nice hounds. The other hound that Rex and Danny won Overall Opposite Sex Champion with was Gr Nt Ch Pigeon River Reddy Freddy. Does anyone know who and what female won the Overall Championship that year.
