The original question being how the clutch holds up I can't say. Mine 05 Tundra, which is the old body style, is an auto. My truck has 298k on it and just last week got its first wheel bearing and rear brakes. Runs and drives as tight as the day I bought it. Most dependable and maintenance free vehicle I have ever owned. When it comes to a clutch or brakes it probably varies from driver to driver?
So the question for me is, has this quality been compromised in recent years. One poster above says yes, sounds like many of you are saying not. I wish they still built the old Tundra platform. Because they don't, I will buy a long box Tacoma. I want a '16 or newer because I want the better gas mileage of that new V6 and 6 speed auto. I will do so even with fair warning that I will never be allowed to park in JAH's driveway.
