If she is young, remember, it is breeding season. Those boars tap a lot of trees. Dog has to adjust. I have heard several say " not hunting right now, too many slick trees"... You can check for Lyme.. If negative, give her a chance to adjust.

When is it time for her to come in heat, has she recently been in or raised pups? Lots of females slick, act or do things completely out of the ordinary around this time.
Also something for all you go get her thyroid checked guys out there. Remember that you will not get accurate results around the time of heat cycles or before, during or soon after whelping pups in your females. You will also not get accurate results much of the time on sick dogs that are on or have recently been on antibiotics.

I see this to in a young dog I hunt with his first real winter hunting on his own and I believe some of them just cannot run a colder track and instead of quitting and going on just blow up trees.... I don’t think there brain can handle what there nose can.

Could be she’s about to come into heat. One of my females use to get bad about slicking about two weeks before she came in.

I have one that is fairly accurate im not going to say deadly accurate because she will miss. She is around a year and a half and has come in heat twice. Both times she has acted crazy right before. The first time it was not going hunting by herself and she has always kicked rocks in your face getting gone ever since she was a pup. Then this last time it was grabbing a tree anytime she smelled a coon. When she came out of the pen after being laid up from being in heat both times she went straight back to normal.

Depending on how old the dog is will depend on what the proper answer should be. I won't tell you to keep sending the dog on if it's 5 years old. But if its under 2 years old then a switch and send them is a good place to start. If the dog is 5 and its doing this but not coming in heat or exiting, then its probably medical related.

Will a switch cure Lymes? But there is a magic pill to cure Lymes.

Feed them good food , clean water , wormed , and pens clean and ticks and fleas off them I have had 5 generations born in my back yard all were at least 11 yrs old when they passed and never had all these health issues y'all had ! But that being said after taking that good of care of them if they fell short of my expectations they didn't get a majic pill they went to doggie heaven. But hey that's just me what do I know.

Depending upon the vaccine used and the test used it is possible to get false positives after being vaccinated.
I would talk to the vet about this and ask for more in depth blood testing not just the typical snap test to be done.

There’s Never A Good Time For Lyme" rel="bookmark" style="text-decoration: none; color: rgb(1, 113, 166);">Print full article

False Positives

“Some other tests will show a false positive if an animal has been vaccinated for Lyme disease,” Dr. Lorentzen says. “The SNAP-3Dx and SNAP-4Dx tests use a synthetic peptide (C6) based on one of six invariable regions (IR6) within the variable domain of VlsE.

“VlsE, a unique surface lipoprotein of Borrelia burgdorferi, undergoes antigenic variation in the vector tick and is found in field-infected dogs, but not in vaccinated dogs or in dogs infected with in vitro-derived Borrelia.”
