Antennas for Garmin

What's the best long range antenna out there for the 430? I just bought a long range extended antenna with the flexible bottom about a mo th ago and it's already not working, not broken in any visible place but it quits picking the dogs up at about 150 yards and I know it's the antenna because I can put my original small antenna back on and it works and the company I bought it from will not stand behind it like I thought they would. So what is a proven long range antenna that you know can stand up to the test of being used heavy in these tennessee hills I hunt?

.

There are two antennas like you described. One extends to 42" and generally works very well. Some however do to the flex will have the jumper wire from the antenna to the base break because of the flex.

Other options is one that is 14" long and is totally flexible throughout the antenna and not just at the base.

If it happed to be us you purchased from. Send me a PM with name and contact info.

The 42 inch antenna is the one I ordered, and I will do that.
