Hello Mr.Starke,

Spot is doing very well (Zig x Rambling Jane)She has a big screaming bawl mouth on track and a machine gun chop on tree. Super excited about the Uncle niece cross on Spot x Winer....Stormy spots sister is really coming along also. Super long bawl on track that can be heard for a mile. Wwwwaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooooppppppp - wwwwaaaaaaaaaaoooooooopppppppp...Crazy long bawl on track...and a nice steady tree dog...

Several super crosses going to be made in 2015 God Willing..

Zig

Hi,

Zig had as good a bawl track mouth as any dog I ever heard. Extremely loud. Never needed tracking equipment, even when according to other people's Garmin he was over a mile deep. You could hear him easy. He had a mouth, but his grandsire was a loud bawl mouth dog also, Dual Gr. Ch. Mears' Finley River Zoom. He came from a cross Tom Wilbers and I made and ended up at John Monroe's. John had him at stud until he died. John stated he was the dog he had been looking for to replace old Joe.

Can't wait to pick up my pup from Whiner and Spot.

I LIKE THE WAY YOUR HOUNDS ARE BRED. I USE TO HAVE A PUP OFF ROGER RICKMANS FINLEY RIVER BOONE THAT WAS AS GOOD AS THEY COME. I NEED SOME FINLEY RIVER TO PUT BACK IN MY HOUNDS. I HAVE TRACK DOGS THAT TREE COONS AND THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE ALSO I BET. HOW HARD WILL IT BE TO GET A MALE PUP OR MAYBE BREED A FEMALE.

Starke's Finley River Ramblin Sage

Hi,

Sure is nice to have Sage home to stay. She is my pup out of Whiner and my little Spot pup, I sold to Jason, to make that cross. Jason later bought Stormy from Steve Flint, if I remember correctly.

Spot and Stormy are out of my Gr Ch Finley River Zig HTX and Starke's Finley River Ramblin Jane. Jane is Whiner's littermate. Their other littermate is Tess, the former Kansas State Ch.

Spot's littermates include Stormy, Starke's Finley River Ramblin Tanna, and Gr Ch Starke's Finley River Iron Man.

I bred old Trap to Lipper to start the Rambler dogs. First came Dual Gr Ch Trap's Finley River Slick. Then it was Durbin's Ol Factory and then Dual Ch Durbin's Rambler.

I kept Nt Ch Starke's Finley River Rattler from Lipper and Trap. He was the fastest track dog I have ever hunted with in my lifetime.

Zig goes back to Finley River Dan 34 times and goes back to Finley River Chief 91 times. His grand sire and great grandsire is PKC Ch Gr Nt Ch Gr Ch Mears' Finley River Zoom. Zoom was out of old Trap. Zig goes back to Trap 4 times.

I have line bred Trap in the Rambler dogs and the Finley River dogs that I have raised, bred, and hunted for 40 years. It is working extremely well. I have a few I have raised and still own, check the profile.

Pups out of Stormy and Spot have a strong pedigree of coondogs and should reproduce cold nose fast track dogs that are accurate treedogs.
