Pup Hauling Question

Got a young male dog that drools a lot when hauled. This only happens on longer (1 hr or so) trips does fine on short rides. I though he may be getting car sick but gets out of the box ready to go hunting doesn't mill around like other dogs ive seen that get car sick, guess it could still be car sickness though. He has been ridden in the box this summer when I run errands to get him used to the box and never had problems on shorter rides. Box has plenty of ventilation so he should be getting plenty of air. Anyone else seen one do this?

drooling

I got a female that does the same thing. She's okay on short rides, but more than 12- 15 miles she starts drooling and eventually gets sick. It's aggravating.

Try Benadryl. 1 - 25mg tab per 25lb. Give 30 mins to 1 hour before travel.

Take a look at a product called rescue remedy. A few drops on the tongue relieves stress.
