I went hunting with Kyle Borgstadt and Rob Farr last night. We had a great hunt, treeing 9 coons by 9:46. This is Kyles pip out of Turkey x queen, she treed on this tree pretty good. Nt ch Ramblin Red Dolly looked really good also.

That was a really fun hunt and I appreciate Kyle taking us out. The hunting was great. Guys this Turkey dog is for real. He is a coon treeing machine. Kyles pup is well on her way to making quite a dog. She hunted good and checked every tree I saw her go by. There were 3 coons on the outside where the picture was taken. She could have run them out. Lol. Whenever we have put Dolly and Turkey together the hunt has been actioned packed. This was no exception. Let's do it again soon.

Against my better judgment I took my pup out of turkey and queen out alone tonight. It was 18 degrees, everything frozen solid and the moon is almost as bright as the sun. She did a great job treeing her 3rd coon solo tonight! She doesn't say much if anything on track but has a good locate and is going to be a nice tree dog! I'm pretty excited about this 8 month old pup.

Kyle your pup is doing awesome. Mine isnt going alone yet but is about ready to be singled out. Belle, Bloody Mary and Georgia Chrome can flat get with it. This Turkey x Queen cross is working well.

Here is Abby and Georgia last week on a den. Its fun watching these develop.

First track she stumbled around for a while before lining it out. Ended up picking her up in a road tube about a quarter away. Recast her and she struck pretty much of the gate. She worked it for about a hundred yards before she lined it out for another 150 before getting wooded. On the way home, one crossed the road and as much as I know better, just had to dump her. She burned it about 50 yards to a hole in the ground.

Myself, Kyle Borgstadt and Chris Siemens took 2 pups hunting last night and left the old pro (turkey) at home. Crooked River Red Ruby and Kyle's Sweet Southern Belle treed 3 singles on 3 different turnouts. It was a perfect December night to hunt and these 2 pups wasted no time getting a coon treed.
