Season just ended or will end soon for most people...what the heck y'all been doing if you're just now "tuning up"? I been "tuning" but all this "tuning" might get my whole kennel culled.

There are two hotels at the exit of Hwy 59 and I70 which the exit that the grounds are located. These hotels are probably less than 5 mins away.
I believe one is a best western and I can’t remember the name of the other.

Tune up

600 yards is a long walk in this snow when it’s knee deep! There will probably still be snow here another month. Hopefully it won’t be too hot for my poor dog in Brazil.

There sure is a lot going on the first of April in that area with Redbone Days, Super Stakes and the Purina hunt. You Deer Creek/Greencastle boys are going to be burnt out by the end of April.

Having a 16 dog $100 entry hunt at Marshell sounds like a great idea. Dean, Jeff and Darren would only need 1 nonhunting guide. Marshall is only about 45 minutes from Brazil. Maybe Jeff would be interested but it is a lot of work to put something like this on.

As of right now nobody has taken the reins to try and organize one, Jared ran the one out of Brazil couple years ago when it was July, but he’s way too tied up during the month of April.

If someone else is from that area and can line up guides, I’m sure we’d have enough at least for 3 casts and most likely 4.

Only 3 more weeks to get em tuned up now. I hope that everyone is hitting the woods this week. The weatherman is finally cooperating in the South. Highs are in the mid to upper 60's this week. I guess that I better get my camper out and get it cleaned up and dewinterized. Hippy says that all of the cabins are reserved and camping spots are going fast.
