I agree the Clint dogs were a couple notches above Lipper dogs.

I know that my old ones did wind, which when they where driving a coon and he grabbed a tree, they would be throwing a locate bawl well before they anywhere near the tree, especially if running into the wind .

I have a great grandaughter outta houses clint and we have noticed that she started winding at an early age and is very good at it. So far so good with it.

Paul :
They would be different dogs Kentucky Judy, would appear as NTCH. "PR" Kentucky Judy (H228,669), she was owned by Joel Dick .... who is listed as breeder on Clint and the others. Joel and Joe House did split on pups, and knowing Joe, he could have said it was House's, but that one wasn't. That is one thing that gets everything mixed up, with all the House names he added and others added to to dogs that might not even have the dogs showing in 3 generations.

Glen

I wish You would write a book ! Titled something like history of the Joe House bred dogs. Every time I read one of Your posts I think its very interesting and as authentic as Your memory will allow it to be !!! You tell good things and some not so good, thats what makes it real. I am not kennel blind ,or even color blind ,but I've had My share of House breeding and I like it ! I guess thats why I enjoy Your posts so much.I'm not kidding about the book idea ,if You ever write one I want to buy an autographed copy.

stonehill - Thanks for the idea, have a feeling it would have to be a comic book as there are some characters beyond belief .... it would be hard to bash too online anyway ! I guess I was just lucky to have known some of the dogs and the men who hunted them. I did learn alot just listening to what was being said, then got to watching to see if what had been told was the way it was or not. You know how it is when you get a few coonhunters around, it can get mighty deep !
