What hound was the most accurate that you've ever had the pleasure of hunting? And what was it out of?.. I believe our breed is failing yearly and getting further away from this asset we must have to enjoy this sport.

Not necessarily the direct answer to your question but as far as a line of dogs I would hands down give that to the Mr Jack dogs for the most accurate I have seen in the breed. Of coarse their are always going to be exception good and bad for this line and every line out their.

He is the most accurate dog I have ever hunted. It's almost unreal! When he gets hooked by himself the other dogs better HOPE to find a coon because he's going to have one.

I was in a hunt over the weekend. We made one quick tree and turned the dogs off of it. The other 3 dogs in the cast went barreling out of there. Swag made a 180 and went behind us about 20 yards, struck, moved up and down the river bank a bit and just fell treed. The other guys wouldn't even look up the tree and even said there's no way there's anything up that tree because their dogs would have treed it! Imagine their surprise when we found two!!

He must have got it from his momma!!!

GRNITECH 'PR' HARD KNOCKING STYLISH MAC, missed some when he was younger, he was actually treeing Squirrels but took to correction very easy and turned out to be a solid hound. I've hunted with several real accurate dogs, that were real good about having a coon but a lot of them grubbed a track and/or beat-n-banged on a bad track. Mac's quick, and can work them bad tracks up with some speed. He's not perfect or 100% but when he tree's were expecting to see 2 eyes looking down!!
