Bench showing docked tail hounds

Will you be DQ for putting a dog on bench that had his tail docked as a pup?

Most breed standards secify the ideal tail but none list docked or bobbed tail as a disqualifying fault. So you should not be disqualified but you might have a hard time winning.

I've seen three legged dogs shown and win.

Key is if it was a hunting accident .
Get a note from a vet saying so. Present it to the BSJ when entering. Rules state that in this case the missing tail should be ignored and not count against the dog when considering it for placement.
