First I want to congratulate Mr. Gray on his win. He had to have spent may hours in the woods to get ready for this hunt.
from what I read he had the best dog and wasn't afraid to trust Willy. Now for a rant. Posters can't even wait for Mr. Gray to enjoy his win before posters on this coonhound forum to start P&Ming about the hunt, judges and about everything else. Looks to me like Willy won the hunt fair and square, he treed the most coon and made the fewest mistakes Isn't that what usually wins the hunt.
My first UKC hunt was 1965 that's 53 years ago this month, so I'm no johnny come lately. Well that's my rant.

We'll I wasn't on the couch. I was in the cast. Jr and Willie won and looked good. I caught a bad break and that's part of the game. Like it or not that's the breaks. Jr and Willy did a great job and deserve being World Champions. Yes some things were a little weak on cast but outcome would be same for the Title. Placements behind would be differant but those are just first losers. I'd be safe to say 2nd 3rd and 4th handlers were gunning for the win and didn't care where we fell beyond that. Congrats Jr and Willy you are World Champions. Enjoy Team

Willie won fair and square the judges had nothing to do with that, its just who they are and what they have done that pisses people off that UKC used them. Take nothing away from that dog He is a genuine UKC world ch and thats a fact, as a matter of fact Im more impressed that he won with them in the cast ,The folks at UKC are just dumb for doing that and thinking it was ok , there are hundreds that could have judge that cast but not those 3.
