You didn't specify for what type game (coon, deer, hogs, bear, fox). All below based on personal experience and not ragging on walkers about deer, I live in the south and we hunt deer w/ dogs.

Thats the list of dogs in order of how i like the breed. But...as of now i hunt a trashy babling walker, so does my opinion matter? Not to me! I'll chase any dog thru the woods after anything and have a blast doing it. Or atleast have a blast telling the story of the "hunt from hell" and hearing the laughs from the guys after its all over. Lol

1) Walkers. - and its by a mile.
2) English - there making a big time jump.
3). Black and tan. - I like hunting with a good b+t.
4). Redbone - you got a nice one you really got something.
5). Plott. - just a little bit aggressive for me. But seen good ones)
6) Bluetick - just never was a fan.. But just me.
7) leopards - have not seen much of them.
