Redbone

Can a Single Registration X-bred redbone hunt in UKC Events even though there is no history of the sire and dam?

If the x bred is registered with UKC then it can be hunted in UKC events. But if there is no record of it's Sire and Dam, why are you calling it a Redbone? It is a X bred.

Because she is 100% Pure bred redbone the breeder never registered the litter and I have no way to contact him because he passed away and his family sold all the dogs after his death.

Then you do have a histoy of the sire and dam but it is not "official". That is a shame. You can hunt her in the nite hunts as a x bred but you can't show her. I am not sure about field trials.

Yeah I don’t really plan to show or competition hunt I was just wondering. I’m gonna try to see if I can get in touch with the mans family to see if I can find the registration info so I don’t have to register her as a X-bred because she is every bit of a redbone
