These young men are pretty popular with the ladies,,,they catch up and check in between drops,,,right now they have no desire to be comp hunters much ,,they say they would rather pleasure hunt because they can talk,,cut up and be as loud as they want ,,,but I'm going to try to get Cole my main hunting buddy to enter some,,,he loves these dogs and is with me every weekend and has now got two more friends interested,,,any more I just as soon pleasure hunt myself mostly,,,,with this bunch it sure is fun

my little boy is involved with the dogs and all kinds of hunting 7 days a week and im not sure who enjoys the attention more him or the dogs??? LOL.

 MASON"S FIRST COON HUNT




This is a picture from a month ago of Mason, my grandson who is 4 and my son, Shane, petting our coonhound BO.
This was Mason's first hunt at night. He has been with me early in the mornings after daylight starting pups on turnouts but never at night. When BO treed and Mason saw the coon I asked him if he wanted to leave it or knock it out. BO has the answer.

 MASON'S FIRST HUNT




After we got BO off the tree it was over 900yds back to the truck and Mason walked all of it both ways that night. Little fellow never complains about anything and loves them hounds. From swimming in the river to treeing coons those hounds are a part of that boys life and Mason wants to let them out every time he comes over for a visit. Country boy through and through.

Took my nephews one time and they was hooked on the first dump !!
The young people are the future to our sport. Ive got a 6 yr old neighbor kid wanting to go now. Were goin in a few nights ,,,,,his dad dont know it yet but if this boy gets hooked there gonna be owning a hound sometime soon i can see it already ! LOL !!
