Hey fellow hunters been awhile since I 've been on here . Sure is some nice weather here in Mid Mo. . As of now I just have 3 pups out of my Pinky Female she started with 9 . I had a male I was kinda hoping to keep just the way he was colored . He looked Clover for sure solid white with a clover on his side ,but he was the last to die . I tried everything with these pups just couldn't seem to save them . I'm now down to 1 male and 2 females ,it looks as if I'll be keeping a female . I made the deal with the owner of the Stud and the deal was he got a male , Anyway Good hunting

Here is a video of Lone Pine Macie treed on a coon by herself, Macie is 10mths old and is out of Gr. Nite Ch. PKC Ch. Quicks Wild Buddy (semen) and Nite Ch PKC CH Show Biz Liz.
Although you can't really see her, you get the idea.


Macie is now 15mths, she was put in her first hunt Wednesday night, she won her cast by being split with the coon and having first tree on the next 2 trees. Good job Macie and Wayne !!

I heard old Steel was a bonafide coondog and I heard it from a couple guys that know what a coondog is.

Sky is 9 1/2 years old. I hunted her all fall after she was basically left in the kennel for the last 3 years. She was a pretty tough old gal this fall. Treed me a pile of coon. Probably looked better this fall than she has in years. One of my biggest regrets is not breeding her more than I did. Every time she came into heat, my partner didn't approve to what I wanted to breed her to or talked me out of breeding her all together.

Well after some thought I think I'm making a outcross on my young Tuff and Ice female . She is Clover bred on all sides out of a great litter and a absolute natural . The best young hound I've ever owned and I've had a bunch . Very very accurate and has been since day one . I think I;ll be taking her to Smackdown he is here in Missouri and I think this outcross should be a good one .I don't know how 2 put her pedigree on here but she is one of the heavest clover bred females in the country . The price on these pups will be 200 male or female ..Thanks

I know 3/4ths of your female's ped off the top of my head. You'd have to tell me a couple of them for me to fill in the blanks. I don't know anything about the Smackdown dog so you'd have to help me there too.

Wild Flash was also a Nite Ch. with 3 wins toward Grand... I made the cross to Wild Style and sold Ice to Aaron Dehn he said she was his first clover hound and a pure natural..He called me when he was breeding her to Tuff and we both were excited about that cross.. I'm glad it turned out! I would also consider the Drifter dog as a possibility he is from an exceptional cross..With sibblings that were and still are big winners in the money hunts with at least 10 also making Nite Ch. or Gr. Nite Ch.. I own and enjoy hunting a littermate sister to him that can occasionally tree one in STYLE!! Good Luck!!Jeff

I added Flash's title. I believe the Yuki dog was titled too but I can't recall.

I've called Aaron Dehn a couple of times to see if Ice could be bought. I know another person has too. I heard that he wasn't coonhunting much anymore and was focused on beagles. I think the Ice cross might have been the best cross on Tuff so far. I've heard from several hunters that had pups from that cross that are real happy with them. Most are country coondogs with very satisfied owners. I'd like to see Ice get bred back to Tuff or to one of his sons, like Pine Ridge Wild Ox (hint... hint...). Never connected with Aaron but I'd sure hate to see Ice go to waste, that cross on Tuff seemed to work.

There is a female up here by me from the Tuff x Ice cross. From all reports she's a coondog or was on the way to making one. A couple folks have tried to buy her and they won't sell her, but I don't think she's getting hunted much either. Its a shame.

For whatever reason, I'm infatuated with the pedigree on that Superman dog in GA. He should really cross well on Clover females, but so should Drifter. Jeff is right, Drifter comes from an outstanding cross. Drifter is only 45 minutes up the road from me. If you choose to breed to Drifter, I will help you out in any way I can to help you make that happen. I'm sure Jason would too.
