I thoroughly enjoy hunting this hound and I believe others would as well. I am wanting to get a few litters of pups on the ground out of him to see what he would reproduce. His bloodline is full of reproducers, and I really believe that he could too if given the chance.

Hurricane was owned and trained by a pleasure hunter, then purchased from him by Gary Elliot, so he was never put in any hunts until I purchased him from Gary.

I am by no means a competition hunter. I mainly just enjoy pleasure hunting. I did however, put Hurricane in 3 HTX hunts, 5 nite hunts, and 4 bench shows.

He recieved a pass in all 3 of the HTX hunts.

I put Hurricane in 3 open registered hunts, and he won 3 1st place wins, with 0 minus points. I put Hurricane in 2 nitech hunt, and he won 1st place in 1, and finished 2nd in the other with 300+.

I do plan to finish Hurricane to Grnitech.

I can provide as many references as you would like.

I will be more than happy to show Hurricane in the woods, any night, and any way you would like to see him go. Hurricane is a deep hunter that likes to be alone and he is very very accurate. He has a good mouth, nothing overpowering, but you can hear him easily. He will tree coons close, but will also go a mile, or however far he needs to. I hunt him in the hills, and in the bottoms, he is not afraid of water, and he will walk your guts out if coons arent moving. You do not need a leash with Hurricane. All you need is a whistle, and he will follow you out of the woods.
He is tight on the ground, just opens here and there, then throws a loooong locate and settles to a steady chop.

As stated above, I am not trying to get rich, famous, nor am I saying that he is the best dog out there, I just really enjoy hunting this hound and I believe others would as well. I look forward to getting puppies on the ground out of him.

Took Hurricane out tonight after being laid up for 2 days. Turned him loose, 789yrds treed with a coon. Sent him from that tree, 702yrds treed with a coon. Sent him from that tree, 517yrds treed with a coon. Called it a night after the third.
The other dog in the box is my 6 month old puppy. Hurricane did it on his own, with no help.

Took Hurricane out tonight in the rain. 1st tree was a little over 800 yards, he had the meat. Sent him from there, and he treed 500 yards and had the meat. Then the rain was too much for his handler lol, called it quits after the second tree.

Took Hurricane tonight. First tree was 60 yards in about 30 seconds, and he had the meat. Next tree was a little over 900 yards, he had the meat. Third tree was around 550 yards and he crossed the river on me, had to go get a boat to get around to him. He stayed hooked and had the meat. 3 trees, 3 coons. He will tree them close, but will get deep if he has to.



And for some reason the bob-tailed cat wanted to get in the picture lol.

Took my cousin on his first coon hunt back in November. Hurricane showed him a good time. Made 3 trees, first 2 each had a coon, and the 3rd tree was a den.

Yea, we will talk more about it when it's closer to time for her to come in. I'm sure we can work something out. If you're talking about Ester, that should be a nice cross. Both are real accurate, both hunt good, and most importantly both tree COONS!

Took my little cousin on his first coon hunt a couple weeks ago. Hurricane gave him an addiction. 3 trees, 3 coons, and a little cousin that calls me every night wanting to go, or asking how I did if he is not able to go.

Hurricane after a good hunt in the hills. 1st tree was 160 yrds from the truck. Sent him on from that, and he treed .97 miles from the truck.

He has 1 thing on his mind when you cut him loose, and that's treeing coons. He will go as far as he needs to go.

I know he isn't a Grnitech, YET. Nor does he have the all grand pedigree that so many people enjoy to ooh and ahh over, but he is 1 thing, a coondog. Plain and simple.

I'm not saying he is a stud dog either, but that is why I am wanting to get a few females bred so I can see what he throws.

Give Hurricane a look guys. I do believe he will reproduce.
