As I get ready for bed tonight feeling really blessed that I know the Lord Jesus Christ as my own personal savior I pray that all of my fellow coonhunting brothers and sisters know him as well. The only feeling I get that is better than hearing a dog treed with a coon is hearing God's word on Sunday mornings , Sunday nights and Wednesdays. If any of you out there don't know him I pray you seek him he will fill the void in your heart and lead you down the right path. Jesus is coming back be ready

I have always been Thankful for what the Good Lord has done in my life. Yes as I sit here getting ready to clean up and put on my Sunday best and attend Gods House. I think about all the blessings. God allows me to be so Thankful for the little things and be positive about things that many would be disappointed in.

l p w there use to be a Ministry called Coon Hunters For Christ if I am not mistakes. I think Joe Brooks lead it. If I remember I have seen him many years back at hunts sharing the word of God at major events. There also use to be in the late 70's a Bible that was given out to Coon Hunters that I think was called the Coon Hunters Bible. It had a pictured engraved on the cover of a hunter, his dog and a tree if I remember right. Wish they were available today.

Anyway. Enjoy the Word of God and the Fellowship with other Believers this morning in Gods House.

I always try to be sensitive to others when I post about my faith in Jesus on sites that most likely include many who don't follow Christ. I never want to come across as better or like I know everything. I know that I don't always show Christ in the best light. It is hard sometimes to love God with all my heart and to to love others as much as I love myself. But I do have to say that my life in following Jesus has been blessed in so many ways. He truly has been the answer to all my questions and heartaches. He has also been my joy. I am totally convinced that he is the way to life, real life, eternal life.

I was one that always dreamed about the one big thing he was going to do for me. Then one day I realized he does a bunch of little things for me every day. Like setting in the river catching fish when they are not biting for nobody else how plain to see is that lol.


For that I am blessed
