They should be tougher. They have an added mil of outer layer and also are related as snake proof.

Very nice Boot and with one of three Chap Combinations they can't be beat. Get the Dan's Five Star Chap, Heavyweight Chap or the Snake Protector Chap.

Dan's Five Star Chaps are the time tested material that is the same John Wick use to use plus it is the same material many use and brand it with their Business Name. Light yet tuff! It is a tight weaved 600 weight nylon with water proof liner.

Heavyweight Chap is ideal for heavy briars and if you cross a lot of barb wire fences. This chap is 100 weight nylon with water proof liner.

Snake Protector chap is also a 1000 weight material but doubled with the grain laid out in opposite directions. You also get a water proof liner inside the chap.
