Thoughts on possible cross

So here at Top of Texas Treeing Walker Kennels, we have decided to make this cross. Unsure if we will sell any or not and it will depend on what she has, but we believe this will produce some amazing foundation style coon dogs. These will most definitely be some of the best bred walkers in the country. What do you think?

The opportunity is there for sure. I know what this female can do and for a 9 yr old like Reno to finish 6th in the world isn’t too shabby. It’s a crap shoot anyway....lol

truest word spoke rite there , yes looks good on paper has she ever been bred ? Will she reproduce ? A lot of unkowns but you have as good a chance as any one else , the hardest part will be finding competent hands to get them in to so you can really judge the outcome of your cross , I think that's harder then the rest of it !

Thanks everyone. I’ve bred her once to Kid and those are 3 months old. She raised 7, which I am happy with and was a good mama. I only have one Reno breeding, so wanted to ensure she would do good first. They can be the best bred in the world, but unless they are pushed and developed right....you’ll never know. Out of all my GRNTCH females, Xena is probably the best choice, so we shall see in March when she comes in heat.

Thanks again

Tim
