Black & Tan/German Shepard

Our neighbor’s Black & Tan got out & bred our German Shepard. Wondering if that cross would make a good coon hound?

yes, that was the best coonhound my grandfather ever had. The longer hair pups turned out the best. But they were very protective of the family. Wouldn't let people around the kids.
