Does it hurt

Does it hurt a young dog to get put up for a week or two? My 11 month old pup was doing very good but the last two weeks he has been really struggling to get one treed. Even my 5 year old dog seems to be struggling a little more right now.

Putting up a young prospect , doesn't hurt it, it's better than burning one out.
When u break it out again u mite be surprised.

That’s what I have been thinking. I’ve seen him do some really good things, so when he doesn't do it like I know he can it can get me frustrated. I don’t want to turn the hunting into a negative experience for him so I think the best thing is put him up for a little bit so we can both get back to feeling good about going out.
