I had the opportunity to guide and judge a first round cast at the finals on Thursday night. We had a great cast and all 4 handlers were true sportsman pulling vines for each other squalling and such on every tree. Some casts go poorly but it sure is nice to see 4 good dudes just out competing at a high level and out there to see the best dog win.

From what I could see the Morrow county coon hunter have put on a solid event for the finalists. Well done!

I hunted the first round and saw the same kinda sportsmanship. Good dogs and good handlers! The Morrow County club did a excellent job of hosting the event in my opinion and tried very hard to make sure all the casts were in good hunting with good judges. It appears plenty of coons were scored and no issues I heard of. 5 stars to the Morrow County coon club and good luck to the finalist.



A lot of shattered dreams and a few still in the making!!!! Lol

It is ALL about seeing which is the best one that night, and if you aren't humble enough to know with the right breaks almost any three you draw might beat you, you aint been around very long.................

Another guy from Ark Jason Hoofman not only walked up to me shook my hand congratulated me BUT petted my dog up real good and said good job Girl you done a good job and deserved it ! I cant ever remember seeing another handler doing that to anyones dogs in all the comp hunts ive been to in my life. What a great example he not only set in our cast but to me as well. I just felt compelled to announce them publicly . I will never forget that cast as long as i Live and i get emotional just thinking about it .
